SUNNYLANDS CENTER AND GARDENS

On view September 2018 – June 2019

Sunnylands commissioned National Geographic photographer Tim Laman to document birds found at Sunnylands, which is sited in the Pacific Flyway—where millions of birds migrate annually. Over a two-year period, he captured detailed images of bird behavior, including courtship dances, hunting habits, and mid-air acrobatics.

With Beski Projekts. Lighting design by Geoff Korf.
